What Butterflies is

Butterflies is a support platform for pregnancy loss, fertility challenges, grief, and recovery, provided to you through your workplace. It offers sessions with independent practitioners, peer communities, events, and self-guided resources.

What Butterflies is not

Butterflies is not a crisis or emergency service, and it is not a substitute for medical care. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 000. Crisis support lines are listed at the bottom of every page, any time you need them.

Community content is reviewed regularly by a person, not monitored continuously. A post is not read the moment it is written, so please do not use a community post to ask for urgent help; use the crisis lines instead.

Your account

You register with an access code from your employer, but your account belongs to you, not to them. Keep your login details to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

Sessions and credits

Session credits are provided by your employer and are free to you, you will never be asked to pay Butterflies anything. Credits attach to your account, aren’t transferable, and booking, cancelling, and rescheduling follow the rules shown at the time you book.

Being here with others

Communities are shared spaces for people in tender seasons of life. The community guidelines are part of these terms. We may remove content or restrict accounts that put others at risk.

Practitioners

Practitioners on Butterflies are independent professionals, verified before they appear on the platform. The care they provide is theirs; if a session doesn’t happen as booked, tell us and we’ll put it right.

Ending your account

You can request deletion of your account at any time from your profile settings. Leaving your employer doesn’t automatically remove your account or your history.
